How to make desi ghee with butter _ Desi ghee recipe _ Clarified butter

Desi Ghee
Ingredients
1 lb unsalted sweet cream butter

Method
1. Add butter to a heavy bottom pan. Heat it on low to medium heat. Butter will begin to melt. Keep occasionally stirring until the butter melts completely.
2. Once the butter has melted completely, you will notice that the white foam will form.
3. Simmer it for a few more minutes until you notice that the liquid's color begins to change from yellow to golden and clear. At this point, solids will begin to settle at the bottom of the pan.
4. Once you notice that bubbles are disappearing.
5. Remove the pan from the stove and allow the foam to settle down. You will now notice the transparent golden liquid and the milk solids have separated and have settled in the bottom of the pan.
6. Allow the ghee to cool and strain the ghee into a clean, dry jar.
7. Store it for up to 3 months at room temperature.
