Invented in 1929 by Edy's Ice Cream, Rocky Road was one of the first ice creams to feature loads of additions. That innovative choice of mixing in other bits and pieces has inspired countless ice creams over the years. And now, after nearly a century, Rocky Road is finally getting an entire collection of flavors to honor its history.Edy's (or Dreyer's out West) folded five flavor options in with the original to create a six flavor tribute line.Salted Caramel Pretzel Path, Brownie Brick Road and Cookie Cobblestone are new flavors.Mocha Almond Avenue and Chocolate Peanut Butter Park are existing flavors that will be part of the new collection. And of course, they couldn't launch this collection without The Original Rocky Road. All six flavors are rolling out nationwide under the Edy's and Dreyer's brand names in February
