The farmers protesting against the new agricultural laws have announced to celebrate Goodwill Day on the death anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi, along with the farmers will be on hunger strike throughout the day. Farmer leaders while addressing a press conference on Delhi's Singhu border said that fasting will be done from 9 am to 5 pm. He appealed to the people of the country to join the farmers.

नए कृषि कानूनों के खिलाफ प्रदर्शन कर रहे किसानों ने आज महात्मा गांधी की पुण्यतिथि पर सद्भावना दिवस मनाने का ऐलान किया है,इसके साथ ही किसान आज दिन भर भूख हड़ताल पर भी रहेंगे। किसान नेताओं ने दिल्ली के सिंघू बॉर्डर पर एक संवाददाता सम्मेलन को संबोधित करते हुए कहा कि सुबह नौ बजे से शाम पांच बजे तक उपवास रखा जाएगा। उन्होंने देश के लोगों से किसानों के साथ जुड़ने की अपील की।
