A salon owner in Cwmbran has been issued with a £1,000 fixed penalty notice for breaching Covid-19 regulations.

Police were alerted that Euphoria Hair and Tanning was operating in breach of lockdown rules.

Upon attending, police found tanning beds in recent use and beauty treatments taking place.

Eight people were captured fleeing the salon, with one customer appearing to have been midway through a hair treatment.
