Alfa Laval Gasketed plate heat exchangers - Opening procedure

Showing how to untighten and open a gasketed plated heat exchanger. Shut down the heat exchanger. Close the valves and isolate the heat exchanger from the rest of the system. Drain the heat exchanger. Dismantle pipes from the pressure plate and
the connection plate(s) so that the pressure plate and the connection plate(s) are free to
move along the carrying bar. Inspect the sliding surfaces of the carrying bar and wipe clean and grease. Mark the plate assembly on the outside by a
