Seeking motivation for running a half marathon? Tired of not being able to sustain pace the whole race? If so, THIS is the video you want to listen to. There are numerous ways to run faster over the half marathon distance and very easy to make mistakes. The key thing is to learn from them and do not continue to make them.

Yes, you can still get great results running easy, slow mileage over a very long period of time. You will build endurance, burn fat and become very strong. That being said, the faster you want to run a half marathon the more specific your training needs to be. I was able to lower my personal best from 1:13:10 down to 1:07:06 using the strategies I discuss in this video.

My hope for you is that you start training smarter rather than thinking harder training is the answer. Often times higher mileage and more aggressive running doesn't always produce the best results. It is how you are setting up your half marathon training plan, the philosophy you are following and the amount of rest you are allotting yourself between harder anaerobic efforts.
