Nationalist Congress Party chief Sharad Pawar and Maharashtra Congress state president Balasaheb Thorat participated in the farmers' demonstration at Azad Maidan in Mumbai on January 25. The farmers had arrived at Azad Maidan after walking hundreds of kilometres from Nashik region of Maharashtra. Three new farm laws instigated farmers to hit roads in national capital. Protesting farmers are all set to hold tractor rally in Delhi to mark Republic Day.
