He's said the Celtics have been worse than their record and winning along thin margins, while pressing defensive consistency above all. The Celtics finally answered on Sunday with their most dominant win of the season over a Cavaliers team that just swept the Brooklyn Nets. Thompson played some of his best minutes of the year against Cleveland's big men while Kemba Walker, Marcus Smart and Jaylen Brown dominated, starting on the defensive end.
