Pacific Islander workers called in response to fruit picker shortage

The Victorian Government has struck a deal to bring in fifteen-hundred Pacific Islander workers in response to a chronic shortage of pickers for the state's fruit and vegetable harvest. The workers will quarantine in Tasmania before travelling to regional Victoria.
