Then and now: China's Wuhan bustles one year after lockdown

Present day images of Wuhan, where streets are lively and life has returned to normal, alongside file images of empty streets and markets as well as hospitals and pharmacies in the city when it was locked down a year ago Saturday to contain the coronavirus. It was the first -- and one of the most severe -- Covid-19 quarantines in the world, with transport to and from the city sealed off on January 23.
