Maarrich | Tusshar Kapoor shares sneak-peek from sets
Tusshar Kapoor is excited about his forthcoming thriller 'Maarrich', shared a little sneak-peek from the sets and penned a heartfelt note.
'Maarrich' - a whodunit thriller features veteran actor Naseeruddin Shah along with Rahul Dev, Anita Hassnanadani and Tusshar Kapoor.
Tusshar posted the sneak-peek photographs from the set on Instagram and wrote:
“Almost 20 yrs down this wonderful journey of making stories come to life, beginning 2021 with #Maarrich..a departure from my usual style, a film that challenges me to evolve as an actor!
Excited to share glimpses, even more excited to share screen space with Naseer Sir after long! ...”
In the film, Naseeruddin Shah will be seen playing the role of a Catholic priest while Tusshar plays a police officer.
The film's title draws from a character in the Hindu epic Ramayana. Maarrich, an aide of Raavana had assisted the ruler of Lanka to kidnap Sita, tempting her by posing as a golden deer.
Apart from his home banners' 'Maarrich', Tusshar Kapoor is also part of 'Jersey', also starring Shahid Kapoor and Mrunal Thakur in the lead roles. The sports drama is helmed by Gowtam Tinnanuri, a remake of his 2019 Telugu film by the same title. The film is slated for Diwali 2021 release.
