Former Republican strategist Rick Wilson explains on “Salon Talks how Donald Trump killed the GOP and why it caused him to leave the party for good. According to Wilson, the Republican Party was once held together by three types of conservatives: individual liberty, social and fiscal conservatives, but Trump helped “burn it all down.” All of this he details in his latest book, “Running Against the Devil: A Plot to Save America from Trump — and Democrats from Themselves.”
