अजिंक्‍य रहाणे की अगुआई में टीम इंडिया ने ऑस्‍ट्रेलिया में इतिहास रच दिया है. भारत ने चौथे और आखिरी टेस्‍ट में मेजबान ऑस्‍ट्रेलिया को 3 विकेट से मात देकर लगातार दूसरी बार ऑस्‍ट्रेलिया में बॉर्डर गावस्‍कर ट्रॉफी पर कब्‍जा कर लिया. भारत की जीत के सबसे बड़े हीरो शुभमन गिल, चेतेश्‍वर पुजारा रहे. जिन्होंने शुरूआती समय में न सिर्फ रन बनाए. बल्कि विकेट को भी बचाकर रखा और जरुरी साझेदारी निभाई. इसके बाद ऋषभ पंत की शानदार बल्‍लेबाजी के दम पर भारत ने चौथा टेस्‍ट जीता. गिल ने 91, पुजारा ने 56 रन और पंत ने नाबाद 89 रन बनाए. आपको बता दें, मेजबान ऑस्‍ट्रेलिया ने पहली पारी में 369 रन बनाए थे, जवाब में टीम इंडिया पहली पारी में 336 रन ही बना पाई. इसके बाद भारतीय गेंदबाजों ने दूसरी पारी में मेजबान पर लगाम कस के रखा और 294 रन पर ऑल आउट कर दिया.
