Magh is the 11th month of the year according to the Hindu calendar. Each month has its own special significance. The month of Magh has also been told its different characteristics. The month of Magha is considered fruitful. It is believed that the results of the work done this month are multiplied. This year, the month of Magh has started from Makar Sankranti i.e. 14 January. It is believed that doing some special work in the month of Magha gives blessings of Gods and Goddesses and provides relief from the difficulties of life.

हिंदू कैलेंडर के अनुसार माघ साल का 11वां महीना है। हर महीने का अपना विशेष महत्व बताया गया है। माघ महीने की भी अपनी अलग विशेषताएं बताई गयी हैं। माघ महीने को फलकारी माना गया है। ऐसी मान्यता है कि इस महीने किए गए कार्यों का फल कई गुना बढ़कर मिलता है। इस साल माघ का महीना मकर संक्रांति यानी 14 जनवरी से शुरू हो चुका है। ऐसी मान्यता है कि माघ महीने में कुछ खास कार्य करने से देवी-देवताओं का आशीर्वाद मिलता है और जीवन की कठिनाईयों से राहत मिलती है।
