Both candidates of Samajwadi Party filed their nominations on Friday for the Legislative Council elections for 12 seats in Uttar Pradesh on January 28. During this Samajwadi Party President Akhilesh Yadav was also present. The same former minister and Leader of Opposition in the Legislative Council Ahmed Hassan and Rajendra Chaudhary have filed their nomination papers in Vidhan Bhavan.

उत्तर प्रदेश में 28 जनवरी को 12 सीटों के लिए होने वाले विधान परिषद के चुनाव के लिए समाजवादी पार्टी के दोनों प्रत्याशियों ने शुक्रवार को अपना नामांकन दाखिल कर दिया। इस दौरान समाजवादी पार्टी के अध्‍यक्ष अखिलेश यादव भी मौजूद रहे. वंही पूर्व मंत्री और विधान परिषद में नेता प्रतिपक्ष अहमद हसन और राजेंद्र चौधरी ने विधान भवन में अपना नामांकन पत्र दाखिल किया है
