Union Minister of State for AYUSH and Defense Shripad Naik and his wife succumbed to the accident on Monday. Shripad Naik is injured in a road accident while his wife Vijay Naik lost his life. Both the people were admitted to the government hospital after the accident. It is being told that a party worker has also died in this accident. Naik represents the BJP from the North Goa parliamentary seat. This accident happened in Kannada district of Karnataka.

केंद्रीय आयुष और रक्षा राज्य मंत्री श्रीपद नाइक और उनकी पत्नी सोमवार को हादसे का शिकार हो गए. सड़क हादसे में श्रीपद नाइक घायल हो गए हैं जबकि उनकी पत्नी विजय नाइक की जान चली गई. हादसे के बाद दोनों लोगों को सरकारी अस्पताल में भर्ती कराया गया. बताया जा रहा है कि इस हादसे में एक पार्टी कार्यकर्ता की भी मौत हो गई है. नाइक उत्तरी गोवा संसदीय सीट से बीजेपी का प्रतिनिधित्व करते हैं. ये हादसा कर्नाटक के कन्नड़ जिले में हुआ है.
