Amid a deadlock in the government's negotiations with farmer unions, the Supreme Court (SC) is scheduled to hear several pleas on Monday. The All India Kisan Sangharsh Coordination Committee (AIKSCC) has said that the SC "does not and cannot have any role in resolving a political deadlock" and accused the BJP-led government at the Centre of using the apex court "as political shield".
