Nets coach Steve Nash had only heard moments before his pregame interview that Kyrie Irving would miss Brooklyn's game against the Philadelphia 76ers for personal reasons. Steve Nash had not heard from his star point guard as of the interview, and had sent him a text he did not receive a response to. Irving and Kevin Durant (COVID protocol) will miss tonight's game against Philadelphia. Nash also addressed the storming of the US Capitol by Donald Trump supporters yesterday in a coup attempt.
