It's a sign of the COVID times we live in. Tyler wasn't able to be with Sammi when she went into the doctor's office to learn the gender of their baby. The couple still wanted to learn the gender together, though, so the nurse wrote it down and put the answer in an envelope. That way, dad could get in on the emotional reveal as well before surprising the rest of the family.
