How FB HQ in Ireland saved a man's life in Maharashtra

After receiving an alert from Facebook, Mumbai Cyber police with the help of Dhule police saved a 23-year-old man from ending his life. The Dhule-based youth told the police that now he won't attempt any such thing and lead a good life. The 23-year-old was streaming a live video on Facebook while slitting his throat, said police. The video was spotted by Facebook’s Ireland headquarters through live locations. They informed the Mumbai Cyber police, who alerted Dhule police. Within 50 minutes of the call, Dhule Police reached his house, broke open the door, and rushed the man to the hospital.
