A special screening of the upcoming film "Ramprasad Ki Tehrvi" was held at Mumbai on 4th January.
Speaking to the press film director Seema Pahwa said that she knew "Ramprasad Ki Tehrvi" would reach the public because its story. It is something that everyone can relate to.
In the film, Ramprasad's (Naseeruddin Shah) entire family gathers under one roof for 13 days after his death, to perform and observe the Hindu traditions and rituals called the tehrvi. During the course, the family’s dynamics, politics, and insecurities come out, and then they realize that the importance of people and things are only evident in retrospect.
