EMU-TV Ep13 (1989) - FULL EPISODE

  • 3 yıl önce
Featuring Rod Hull singing The Drifter (by Steve Lawrence), this is episode 13 of EMU-TV - the last of the first series, if you're counting that way - and thus we get the conclusion of the Gone with the Witch soap opera. The original air date was Wednesday, 7th June, 1989, and this replaces a previous upload on my channel which had the first few minutes missing.

There's a bit of Classic Theatre in this one, a Weather Report, The Door with Spots All Over It, Les Foubracs egg-juggling and performing face music, and a ventriloquist act on The Last Night Show. And just in case you're wondering, the tape stopped before the credits had finished rolling, so I've had to fake the ending with footage from earlier in the episode (and a bit of guesswork). We may never know precisely when the Central moon came in.

Keep an eye out at the end of Emu's Challenge for a glimpse of a young Emile Heskey in the background - a mere 13 years before he would score for England at a World Cup. His team must have been next up.

Many thanks to both Lindsay and Sarah for lending me tapes with this episode.
