Corona virus is now being defeated in India. The Union Health Ministry said on Tuesday that the number of active cases of corona virus infection in the country has reduced to less than 2.5 lakhs and this has happened after 6 months. In a press conference on Tuesday, Health Secretary Rajesh Bhushan said that from 23 December to 5 January, the infection rate remains below 3%. There were 10 lakh active cases on 21 September, which reached 2.5 lakh on 2 January.

भारत में कोरोना वायरस अब हार रहा है. केंद्रीय स्वास्थ्य मंत्रालय ने मंगलवार को बताया कि देश में कोरोना वायरस संक्रमण के एक्टिव मामलों की संख्या 2.5 लाख से भी कम रह गई है और ऐसा 6 महीने बाद हुआ है. मंगलवार को प्रेस कॉन्फ्रेंस में स्वास्थ्य सचिव राजेश भूषण ने बताया कि 23 दिसंबर से 5 जनवरी तक संक्रमण दर 3% से नीचे बनी हुई है. 21 सितंबर को 10 लाख एक्टिव केस थे जो कि 2 जनवरी को 2.5 पर लाख आ गए.
