Ingredients;
Homemade fish masala
Zeera (cumin) 1TBS
Jaifil (nutmeg) 1/2 piece or powder
Javitri(mace) 1/2 piece or powder
Loung(cloves) 4-5
Darchini (cinnamon) 1stick
Ajwain(carom) 1/2 tsp
Kasuri meithi(dried fenugreek leaves) 1TBS
Adrak(ginger)past or whole 1inch piece
Lehsan(garlic)paste or cloves 6-8
Hari mirchen (green chillies)1-2
Piyaz (onion) 1
Lemon juice 3-4 tbs
Haldi (turmeric)1/2tsp or to taste
Namak (salt)1 tsp or to taste
Lal mirch powder (red chilli powder)1/2 tsp
Dahee(yogurt)1/2cup
Beisan(gram flour) 1&1/2 tbs
Tikka masala 2-1/2 tbsp
Fresh coriander chopped
Directions;
In spice mixer,add cumin seeds,cloves,cinnamon stick,coriander seeds,carom seeds,dried fenugreek leaves and blend to make a powder.
Add onion green chilli,lemon juice and blend well add ginger garlic paste and nutmeg mec powder and set aside.
Add cuts on whole fish,add turmeric powder,salt,red chilli powder,2 tbs of blended paste,rub evenly on both sides and marinate for 30 minutes in refrigerator.
In bowl,add yogurt,remaining blended mixture,tikka masala,gram flour and whisk well.
In marinated fish,add spiced yogurt and rub evenly on both sides.
Cook in pan for 10 minutes 5 minutes each side then bake in preheated oven for 20 mins 10 minutes each side.
Garnish with lemon slices,fresh coriander ,onions and serve!
