Jeremiah 36: 1-22
The word came from the Lord to Jeremiah to warn the people of Judah about their disobedience. Jeremiah dictated the word to Baruch and told him to read it to the people. The scroll was read to the King Jehoiakim, he did not repent. Instead, he cut it into pieces and, threw it in the fire.
