The Uttar Pradesh government has ordered strict action on writing caste-related words on vehicles, the effect of which has started showing. The first challan in the capital Lucknow has been cut after the caste sticker was installed on the vehicle. Actually, in the back of a car parked at Naka police station in Lucknow, a word was written on the glass, on which the police has cut the challan.

उत्तर प्रदेश सरकार ने गाड़ियों पर जातिसूचक शब्द लिखवाने पर कड़ी कार्रवाई का आदेश दिया है, जिसका असर भी दिखने लगा है. गाड़ी पर जातिसूचक स्टीकर लगाने पर राजधानी लखनऊ में पहला चालान काटा गया है. दरअसल, लखनई के नाका थानाक्षेत्र में खड़ी एक कार के पीछे शीशे पर जातीसूचक शब्द लिखा था, जिसपर पुलिस ने चालान काटा है।
