Coronavirus: What you should know about the COVID-19 variant in Canada

British Columbia became the second province in Canada to report a case of the COVID-19 variant first identified in the U.K.

A third case was also confirmed in Ontario, in the city of Ottawa, adding to the first cases reported a day prior in the Greater Toronto Area who the province says had contact with a recent traveller from the U.K.

Both of Sunday's reported cases had each recently travelled from the United Kingdom.
