Angered by the attitude of the Narendra Modi government at the Center on the issue of new agricultural legislation and farmers' agitation, the National Democratic Party, a BJP ally in Rajasthan, has left the NDA. नए कृषि कानून और किसानों के आंदोलन के मुद्दे पर केंद्र की नरेंद्र मोदी सरकार के रवैये से नाराज होकर शनिवार को राजस्थान में बीजेपी की सहयोगी रही राष्ट्रीय लोकतांत्रिक पार्टी ने NDA छोड़ दी है. RLP के अध्यक्ष हनुमान प्रसाद बेनीवाल ने खुद इसका एलान किया. पिछले चार महीनों में एनडीए छोड़ने वाली यह चौथी पार्टी है. इससे पहले सितंबर में किसानों के मुद्दे पर ही बीजेपी के सबसे पुराने साथी शिरोमणि अकाली दल ने एनडीए छोड़ दी थी. मोदी सरकार में मंत्री रहीं हरसिमरत कौर ने किसानों के मुद्दे पर इस्तीफा दे दिया था.
