Brad Stevens defined the roles of the various Celtics players for the year at practice today after a blowout loss to the Nets that capped the preseason. He also updated Tristan Thompson's status less than one week from opening night on Wednesday, announcing that he joined Celtics practice today and ramped up the energy during their session.

"He's got a great personality. He did some halfcourt stuff the other day and our energy raised. He did a lot of stuff today and you could see our energy to another level. His physicality helps a lot."
