महाभारत युद्ध समाप्त होने के बाद यादवों का प्रभाव काफी बढ़ता जा रहा था और वह आपस में ही संघर्ष करने लगे थे। ऐसे में एक दिन वायु देवता को दूत बनाकर देवताओं ने भगवान श्रीकृष्ण के पास भेजा। वायुदेव ने भगवान श्रीकृष्ण से कहा कि देवताओं ने कहा है कि आपने पृथ्वी पर फैले पाप का अंत करने के लिए अवतार लिया था और अब आपका कार्य पूरा हो गया है। अगर आपकी इच्छा हो तो आप अपने लोक वापस आ जाएं अथवा आपकी अभी और पृथ्वी पर रहने की इच्छा हो तो आप रह सकते हैं। भगवान श्रीकृष्ण ने कहा कि जब तक यदुवंशियों का अंत नहीं हो जाता तब तक पृथ्वी का भार कम नहीं होगा इसलिए अब मैंने इनके अंत की व्यवस्था कर दी है और अब केवल सात दिनों के अंदर मैं भूलोक का त्याग कर दूंगा।

Dhurvasa came to Dhuvaraga at that time some Yadhavas wanted to test his power:they decorated a man as a pregnant woman and asked Dhurvasa to tell is that a baby boy or baby girl, Dhurvasa knew the truth and said you all are cheated me and doubt me so now he will have a big iron stone in his stomach. Yadhavas ask forgiveness to him but Dhurvasa didn't forget them so Yadhavas destroyed that stone and throw that in the sea.that stone become strong grasses in the sea borders. Later Yadhavas fight each other and they killed by that grasses. Lord Krishna was killed by one hunter that hunter killed by his arrow which he made with that strong grasses.Gandhari told to Krishna that he was the reason of this war and all this destruction but his family or his empire didn't be destroy so now your empire will be destroyed and you will die by a hunter.When Lord Krishna wanted to build an empire he asked to the god of sea to leave some place to build his empire and then you can take your place so after the death of Krishna the god of sea took his place (The sea destroyed Dhuvaraga by a tsunami)Now Dhuvaraga is in the sea ,it called Kumarikkandam. So whole family of Krishna were died.
