SolarWinds is a company headquartered in Austin, Texas. It is mainly engaged in software development, systems and information technology architecture, network management, and other businesses. Their major shareholder is the US-based "Silver Lake Investment Corporation'', which has also invested hundreds of billions of dollars in mainland China. It was also the main backer of China Ant Financial Services from the US in its 2018 financing.
On December 14, Trump announced in a tweet that Attorney General Barr would be leaving. In his departure letter, Barr did not have any complaints about Trump, but said a lot of good things about him instead. Barr said that Trump's accomplishments during his past four years in office were historic and achieved in the face of relentless and hostile resistance. He said Trump's 2016 victory speech called on his opponents to work together for the good of the American people, but in return the Democrats went almost all out and launched a fierce attack on Trump that went too far.
