Indore chips factory demolished after found using rotten potatoes

The Indore administration demolished a potato chips factory at Sanwer Road after authorities found the manufacturing unit was using rotten potatoes for making the packaged chips. Authorities found rotten potatoes in huge amount during the raid. The chemical powder was being used to wash the chips made from these potatoes Madhya Pradesh government is running an anti-adulteration drive under the campaign of ‘Freedom from Adulteration’. "Chips were being made from rotten potatoes. Many think packaged food to be safe & buy them. It acts as poison after consumption," said Manish Singh, District Collector, Indore.
