The agitating farmers are sitting on a sit-in protest even after 20 days in protest against the new agricultural laws. Farmers' organizations demand that these three laws be withdrawn. At the same time, the central government has made it clear that the law will not be withdrawn. Several rounds of negotiations have been held between the government and farmer leaders, but no solution has been found so far. On Wednesday, the Supreme Court held a hearing on the peasant movement and today the committee will be set up as per the court's order.

नए कृषि कानूनों के विरोध में आंदोलनरत किसान 22 दिन बाद भी धरने पर बैठे हुए हैं। किसान संगठनों की मांग है कि इन तीनों कानूनों को वापस लिया जाए। वहीं केंद्र सरकार ने साफ कर दिया है कि कानून वापस नहीं होगा। सरकार और किसान नेताओं के बीच कई दौर की बातचीत हो चुकी लेकिन अभी तक कोई समाधान नहीं निकला है। बुधवार को सुप्रीम कोर्ट ने किसान आंदोलन पर सुनवाई की थी और आज कोर्ट के आदेशानुसार कमेटी का गठन किया जाएगा।
