Shiromani Akali Dal president Sukhbir Singh Badal has accused the BJP of trying to fan communal tensions in Punjab. Hitting out at the BJP, his party's former ally, over the farm bills and the central government's handling of the farmers' protest, Sukhbir Badal said the BJP has "smashed national unity to pieces".
