Abdu Hamid and his wife Julekha Begum haven’t held hands since they were married three years ago by video call.
The two Rohingya refugees knew each other as children -- but Hamid left their native Myanmar seven years ago to work in Malaysia, while Begum fled the country following a brutal military crackdown in 2017.
Now they are stuck, thousands of kilometers apart and with scant hope of being together. "I want to get more money and save," Hamid says, "and when there's enough I want to bring her here to Malaysia. I must bring her here".
