The 101st Airborne Division (Air Assault) recently conducted Operation Golden Eagle, a four-day brigade sized air assault operation, during which Soldiers from 3rd BCT, 101st ABN DIV (AASLT) and 101st CAB, Wings of Destiny moved over 1,000 Soldiers and sling-loaded over 30 pieces of equipment over U.S. Army Fort Campbell, Ky.
