The Supreme Court on Monday sought response from the Centre on a plea filed by a 94-year-old woman seeking to declare as “wholly unconstitutional” the proclamation of Emergency in 1975.While agreeing to hear the plea, a bench headed by Justice S K Kaul said the apex court would also examine whether it is "feasible or desirable" for it to examine the validity of proclamation of Emergency after a lapse of 45 years. 94 साल की वीरा सरीन की 1975 में आपातकाल की घोषणा को असंवैधानिक करार दिये जाने की याचिका का परीक्षण करने को सुप्रीम कोर्ट तैयार हो गया है. सुप्रीम कोर्ट ने केंद्र को नोटिस जारी कर जवाब मांगा है. हालांकि, अधिकारियों से मुआवजा के तौर पर 25 करोड़ रुपये दिलाये जाने की मांग पर सुनवाई से कोर्ट ने इनकार किया. देखिए वीडियो
