The IRCTC denied the report that it sent out emails on Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s ties with Sikhs to the customers belonging to only Sikh community and said that it has not been quoted correctly.Earlier, PTI reported that the Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation (IRCTC) sent out nearly two crore emails between December 8 and December 12 to its customers highlighting 13 decisions taken by PM Modi to support Sikhs, amid ongoing protests by farmers against new farm laws. किसान आंदोलन के बीच कई मीडिया खबरों में ये दावा किया गया कि भारतीय रेलवे की पीएसयू IRCTC यानी इंडियन रेलवे केटरिंग एंड टूरिज्म कॉरपोरेशन से अपने करीब 2 करोड़ ग्राहकों को एक ईमेल भेजा है. खबरों में ये भी दावा किया गया कि इस ईमेल में सिख समुदाय के लिए पीएम नरेंद्र मोदी सरकार द्वारा उठाए गए कदमों के बारे में जानकारी दी गई थी. रिपोर्ट के मुताबिक से 8 से 12 दिसंबर के बीच IRCTC ने करीब 2 करोड़ ग्राहकों को ईमेल भेजे थे.जानिए अब रेलवे ने इस पर क्या सफाई दी.
