Jewish worshippers mark Hanukkah openly for the first time in the UAE

Jewish worshippers in the Gulf emirate of Dubai are for the first time marking the first night of Hanukkah openly, following the normalisation of relations between Israel and the United Arab Emirates in a deal brokered by the White House. "It's very emotional (...) and a dream come true," says Israeli businessman Gil Gurevitch, who bought 50 rooms of a Dubai hotel and a restaurant that he plans to turn kosher to welcome Israeli tourists arriving in the UAE.
