China’s Chengdu city in ‘wartime mode’ after new local Covid-19 infections reported

Seven new local coronavirus cases were reported on December 7 and 8, 2020 in the Chinese city of Chengdu in Sichuan province. This is the first time since March that the city has seen local transmissions.
