Australia: 14 koalas rescued and released into the wild after devastating wildfires

14 koalas have been released into the wild over the past month in Australia. The animals had been injured during the months-long devastating wildfires in Australia’s Victoria state that began in September 2019. The koalas had been treated mainly for burns in Melbourne and in Healesville.
