Former Deputy Chief Minister of Bihar and senior BJP leader Sushil Kumar Modi said on Sunday that as long as there is discrimination in the society, reservation for scheduled castes and scheduled tribes will continue in Lok Sabha, Assembly and government jobs. Modi thanked the Narendra Modi government at the Center for extending SC-ST reservation to 2030 and said that as long as there is discrimination, untouchability etc. in the society, the system of reservation in Lok Sabha, Assembly and government jobs should continue.

बिहार के पूर्व उपमुख्यमंत्री और भाजपा के वरिष्ठ नेता सुशील कुमार मोदी ने रविवार को कहा कि जब तक समाज में भेदभाव रहेगा लोकसभा, विधानसभा व सरकारी नौकरियों में अनुसूचित जाति एवं अनुसूचित जनजाति के लिए आरक्षण जारी रहेगा. मोदी ने एससी-एसटी के आरक्षण को 2030 तक बढ़ाए जाने पर केंद्र की नरेंद्र मोदी सरकार को धन्यवाद देते हुए कहा कि जब तक समाज में भेदभाव, छुआछूत आदि रहेगी तब तक लोकसभा, विधानसभा व सरकारी नौकरियों में आरक्षण की व्यवस्था जारी रहनी चाहिए.
