Ahead of the crucial meeting with the farmers at 2 pm on Saturday, PM Narendra Modi, Home Minister Amit Shah, Defence Minister Rajnath Singh, and Agriculture Minister Narendra Singh Tomar discussed "possible changes" in the farm laws, sources have told India Today TV. Sources said the Centre could agree to some changes in the farm laws. Sources said the central government is also likely to give a written assurance on the minimum support price (MSP). Compulsory registration of private buyers is also likely to be taken up in the talks between farmers and government officials.
