The Enforcement Directorate has seized and fined 1.6 million euros of property in France, clamping down on fugitive businessman Vijay Mallya. Vijay Mallya, owner and fugitive liquor businessman of Kingfisher Airlines Ltd. is absconding from India. In January 2019, Vijay Mallya was declared a fugitive criminal under the Money-Laundering Act by the court.

प्रवर्तन निदेशालय ने भगोड़े कारोबारी विजय माल्‍या पर शिकंजा और कसते हुए फ्रांस में उसकी 1.6 मिलियन यूरो की संपत्ति जब्त की है। किंगफिशर एयरलाइंस लिमिटेड के मालिक और भगोड़े शराब कारोबारी विजय माल्या भारत से फरार है। जनवरी 2019 में मनी-लॉन्ड्रिंग एक्ट के तहत विजय माल्या को कोर्ट ने भगोड़ा अपराधी घोषित किया था।
