AIMIM Party candidate from Mehdipatnam and former Mayor of Hyderabad Mohammad Majid Hussain won the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation election. The Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation is one of the largest municipal corporations in the country. This municipal corporation is in 4 districts, including Hyderabad, Medchal-Malkajgiri, Rangareddy and Sangareddy. Telangana has 5 Lok Sabha seats, while the entire area comprises 24 assembly constituencies.
