The Quint spoke to the family of ENT specialist, Dr Chittaranjan Bhave, about 6 months after he died due to COVID-19. Dr Bhave, like every other private doctor in the state was not covered in the State's insurance plan that is extended to only government doctors. Associations like the IMA and AMC are fighting to change this.
