The Supreme Court on Wednesday refused to hear a petition questioning the media's printing of the Hathras victim. The court said that we cannot make laws on law. However, the Supreme Court has described the incident of allegedly publishing a photo of the victim of the Hathras gang as unfortunate. The court has said that there is a law in place to prevent such incidents, but even if these incidents are happening then it is unfortunate.


सुप्रीम कोर्ट ने बुधवार को मीडिया में हाथरस पीड़ित की फोटो छापने पर सवाल उठाने वाली याचिका पर सुनवाई से इनकार कर दिया है। कोर्ट ने कहा कि हम कानून पर कानून नहीं बना सकते है. हालांकि सुप्रीम कोर्ट ने कथित तौर पर हाथरस गैंगरेप की पीड़िता की फोटो छपने की घटना को दुर्भाग्यपूर्ण बताया है। कोर्ट ने कहा है कि ऐसी घटनाओं को रोकने के लिए पहले से कानून की व्यवस्था है, लेकिन अगर फिर भी ये घटनाएं हो रही हैं तो ये दुर्भाग्यपूर्ण है।
