The Garden Report discussed Danny Ainge's explanation at Celtics media day about why Boston lost Gordon Hayward to the Charlotte Hornets and trade talks with the Indiana Pacers fell apart. Ainge spoke to 98.5 The Sports Hub and said the Celtics were not asking too much from Indiana as their GM Kevin Pritchard said. He believes that Hayward left the Celtics for a bigger role and that Boston wanted to keep him. Bobby Manning and John Zannis discussed what was the likeliest reason Hayward ended up in Charlotte.
