Thousands of farmers gathered at several entry points into Delhi were allowed in on Thursday to hold a peaceful protest at a north Delhi ground. This comes after the farmers braved teargas shells, water cannons and multi-layer barriers which was used by police to thwart farmers' peaceful protest.

"We will enter Delhi. We will get these anti-farmer laws repealed. We were welcomed at the national capital by teargas shells lobbed by Delhi police," said a farmer from Fatehgarh Sahib in Punjab who was among those who managed to reach the Singhu border. In this latest episode, India Today discusses the farmers' protest at length. For more, watch the full video.
