Pfizer says its COVID-19 vaccine is 95 percent safe and effective. The pharmaceutical company says its data shows the vaccine prevents mild and severe forms of the infection, and, is effective even in older adults with no serious side-effects. Pfizer is set to apply for emergency approval from the Food and Drug Administration.
